I don't normally do con reports, but I'm taking advantage of the free journal skins. Ah ha ha ha.

King Con was last weekend, and it was pretty decent for a first year con. Things were a bit disorganized the first day, but it looked like they got a better handle on things the second. It wasn't too crowded, but there was a much bigger crowd than I expected. It felt pretty packed at times, but I think that's just because it was a fairly small space. There were more people there on Saturday than Sunday, though. It was also really hard to get behind our table. They were butted up against each other and a pillar, so we couldn't move it at all. There was a little space for us to squeeze by on the side, but the second day, somebody rearranged the area next to us, so we had no choice but to crawl under the table. So dignified. We were also under this loft area, and got pretty bad light. The guy next to us rigged up some lamps so we could see.

Melissa was giving away free samples of her syndicated strip My Cage, and Hwan was giving away free previews and buttons for KGB. They got rid of everything, so I may consider making a free preview for Wasted Minds in the future (then I can have something with more recent art than the second book, UGH).
